Abhijit Sengupta - Chief Executive Officer, Mumbai.

A Bachelor of Science, he started his career as a Sales Executive in Eureka Forbes in 1988. Selling vacuum cleaners and medicines seemed less luring to him, which compelled him to switch to selling billboards in Selvel Vantage Group in the year 1991. Despite being the highest seller within the company for all consecutive 3 years, he still wanted to give a creative dimension to his career. Soon he realized the art and science of media planning was missing in the existing world of outdoor advertising. Subsequently, he worked in Ogilvy & Mather, Primesite and Madison Outdoor Media Services.

Still he felt short of the objective set, i.e. making outdoor media accountable by integrating science, research and technology. That’s when in 2002 he met a few like-minded young professionals, which inspired him to build a company based on a unified mission.

James Varghese - Associate Vice President

James Varghese started his career with PhoneIN (owned by Hinduja) in the marketing division as Asst. Manager going on to head the division. Later he shifted to IndusInd Media & Communication Pvt. Ltd. for the next 3 years handling the airtime sales for INMumbai & INcable Net. He later joined Ratikant Basu's venture 'Tara', a regional satellite channel. From there he moved to Raheja Group - Hathway Cable & Datacom and spent 4 years handling airtime sales for CCC, CNEWS, ITV and WinCable.

He changed his line when he joined Mid-Day Multimedia's outdoor division currently known as Clear Channel Communications, India, as the Manager for close to 3 years. He moved to the specialized outdoor agency Prime Market Reach (previously know as Prime Outdoors) in 2005 as the Western Region Head, where he was promoted as the COO of the outdoor division before joining OAP in January 2007 as the Associate Vice-President.

Suvro Bhattacharya - Chief Manager, Chennai

He’s been working in OAP since 2002. After pursuing PG Diploma in Sales and Marketing Management, he joined NIIT as a Corporate Sales Executive in 1993. During his brief stint at Dalal Street for 4 years, he was promoted as the Assistant Manager of Space Marketing. Also worked in Indian Express for the ‘Gentleman’ magazine as the Assistant Manager for 3 years. During the tenure, he was promoted as the South Head for the magazine division.

Has been the member of the Cinema Express Awards – the biggest cine awards in the south. Just before he entered OAP as the Chief Manager, he was working in Primesite as the Branch Head and received a lot of accolades with the launch of Touchtel…

Rajesh Walawalkar - Vice President - Finance, Mumbai

Rajesh flagged off his career as an Accountant with an NGO called 'Centre for Applied Systems and Analysis in Development' (CASAD) on a Ford Foundation Project. He then moved on to an organisation manufacturing industrial packaging called Mechanical Packings Industries Ltd. From there to Primetime Media Services Ltd., a company known for marketing of programmes on Doordarshan. Thereafter Rajesh joined Prime Outdoors, a company specialising in outdoor advertising. Rajesh finally joined OAP in July 2002.

Educational Qualification: Masters in Accounts - Finance & an MBA in Human Resource Management.

Rajesh aspires to be an agent of change and a consistent performer, with a desires to excell and help others do likewise.

Naresh Bhandari - Chief Manager, Bangalore

A graduate, Naresh Bhandari was hired as a Marketing Executive by Prakash Arts in 2001. He increased their billing from Rs. 10 lakhs to Rs. 60 lakhs per month. Within a year, he started handling a number of new verticals like planning, buying and developing new businesses. After a brief tenure of 2 and half years in Prakash Arts, he was hired by OAP. Some of the new businesses in Prakash Arts include clients like Britannia, Airtel, SBI, Exide Batteries, ING Vyasa Life Insurance, BPCL, Coke, Arvind Mills, Hero Honda, Godrej and Big Bazaar.

He loves fast cars and extremely passionate about shopping and traveling.

Subhashish Sarkar - Head North

Subhashish's career in the Outdoor industry spans back to the early 90's (14 years to be precise), when the medium itself was undergoing a sea-change. He joined Selvel in 1993 and soon got involved in the set-up of the earliest Large Format Digital Printing operation in the country. Painters and paint-on-tin were on their way out.

A short two years in the trade and he was sent to Melbourne/Australia by the Selvel group to train on cutting edge digital processes which included the then revolutionary digital photography at Australia's premier Show Mega facilities. After returning, he has been based out of most of the Selvel Vantage metropolitan offices such as Kolkata, Bombay and Delhi developing a strong career in marketing outdoor

In July, 2005, Subhashish moved on from the Selvel Vantage Group to Team OAP, as Regional Head - North.

Subhashish's has varied interests in photography, travel, music, cinema and automobiles.

Abin Chaudhuri - Vice President

Abin, a B.Arch from Jadavpur University, is an acclaimed architect & industrial designer. He is a recipient of various national & regional awards in design, architecture and space management.

He gathered immense practical experience in architecture, interior spacing, exhibition, industrial designing & graphic designing. To name a few mega projects that he handled are Lafarge , DFID, Macmillan, IBM, HP, Thomas Cook, Indusind Bank, Sreeleathers, L'Oreal & many other MNC's.

When he is not designing, he prefers photographing and looking after his football academy.

Subir Dutta - National Coordinator, Touchpoint

Subir's career spans over 25 years, in construction and interiors for both commercial and residential projects. Has handled various mega projects under Martin Burn , EEDF ( A wing of DCPL), and Dalmia Construction. Subsequently with growing market need, his interest shifted towards interior based jobs and handled projects like Lafarge Cement, Ambuja Cement, Bates to name a few.
